With a BA from the University of Missouri in Political Science, Bob has been involved in financial software for more than 21 years. He’s focused specifically on the nonprofit industry for 18 of those years.
Prior to joining Capital Business Solutions, Bob worked for Blackbaud where he played an integral role as Channel Sales Manager in building their Independent Reseller and Consulting Channel. Bob helps the CBS team deliver smooth implementations and delighted, educated, well-trained customers.

Peter Saul holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Penn State University and acquired his CPA license in 1992. He began implementing accounting systems for not-for-profit organizations while at KPMG in Raleigh, NC. Peter worked as the North Carolina Reseller for a major nonprofit software vendor for 7 years prior to joining Capital Business Solutions. Peter has focused on technology and accounting solutions for nonprofit organizations for more than 21 years and now directs Capital Business Solutions consulting practice.

Robbie Pollock graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan College with B.S. in Business Administration, Minor Accounting/Economics in 1987. Since that time, Robbie has worked with numerous nonprofit accounting software products. At Capital Business Solutions, Robbie serves as a product sales engineer and oversees the technology department. He is also responsible for product development strategy. In his down time, Robbie enjoys watching ice hockey, working out and spending time with his wife and 2 sons.

Christy graduated from Campbellsville College in Campbellsville, KY, in December of 1991, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Religious Education and a minor in Accounting. She has more than 20 years of experience with the Blackbaud products, having worked at Blackbaud from 1994-2001 where she was a Senior Support Analyst and Software Trainer. Christy's thorough product knowledge and training abilities made her a great resource for modifying and restructuring training workbooks; providing internal training to new analysts and coaching new trainers on their presentation skills.
Christy started with Capital Business Solutions in 2001 where she currently directs client implementations for Capital Business Solutions and provides an in depth understanding of non-profits along with a wealth of Blackbaud experience for our clients. Her professional services experience includes implementing software, assisting with processes and workflow, and customized user trainings. Christy has also worked with converting data from existing system to the Blackbaud software, working with needs of auditors to provide information with ease and integrating the different Blackbaud systems.

Alyson graduated from Davidson College with a degree in English. She has over 20 years of practical experience as both a fundraising professional and donor management services consultant in a variety of settings. Nine of those years were spent in a Director of Development capacity. In 2006 Alyson transitioned into a consulting role and has since worked closely with a wide range of nonprofits, from national organizations to small two to three person shops in education, health and human services, the arts, animal welfare, conservation, foundations and more.

Jason graduated from Bluefield State College in Bluefield, WV in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting and Management. Since then, Jason worked as an accountant for a CPA firm whose audits consisted primarily of nonprofit and government entities. He also served as a controller for a manufacturing/building company, managing the accounting department and being responsible for month end closing and financial statements for 14 separate companies. Today, Jason uses his nonprofit and accounting skills as an Implementation Specialist and Consultant for Abila MIP Fund Accounting and Blackbaud Financial Edge Services.

Joon brings 16 plus years of nonprofit financial management experience to Capital Business Solutions. Based out of Springfield, Missouri, Joon has been providing consulting and implementation services for the Abila MIP Fund Accounting product for more than 8 years. In addition to having a strong background with Abila software technology Joon is a Certified Community Action Professional having worked as the Finance Director of a Community Action Program for five years. Joon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Emporia State University with a Major in Finance and a Minor in Computer Information Systems.

Nitin graduated from the Old Dominion University, Norfolk VA with a Master’s of Science in Computer Science in 2010 and Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science from Pune University, India in 2006. He has worked in Transportation, Education and Finance industries as a Software Engineer. Nitin joined Capital Business Solutions in 2012. Nitin enjoys Software Development and Technical Leadership, not only as his job, but as a hobby and interest. His preferred skills include Cloud Development, Database Development and Web Development.

Jenny is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jenny works with our sales and marketing team at Capital Business Solutions assisting with sales and marketing activities for our solutions. Kelly is a graduate from Appalachian State University, Boone NC with a Bachelor's of Science in Housing and Interiors, minor in Marketing. Kelly has over 12 years of focus and experience in residential design and sales. She also expanded into other roles, while raising her children, including teaching preschool and developing a small business selling children's decor and novelty items. Kelly has enjoyed volunteering in the schools her boys attended as well as holding a business administrator position with a nonprofit community theatre. She enjoys spending time with family & friends, traveling, cooking and attending all the plays and sporting events her two boys are involved in.

Prior to joining Capital Business Solutions, Zachary worked as a Project Manager and Implementation Specialist of nonprofit financial systems for over 16 years. Based out of Boston, MA, Zachary has been providing consulting and implementation services for the Blackbaud Financial Edge Services. In his downtime, Zachary enjoys playing music and is a part-time professional event DJ.

A native of Atlanta, Joe is a retired Naval officer who found a second career working with nonprofits in development operations and data management and brings to Capital Business Solutions many years of practical Blackbaud cross-platform experience in both Raiser’s Edge and Financial Edge, as well as the new Church Management solution. He believes that an intimate, working knowledge of the client’s day-to-day operations is the best way to maximize their potential with these platforms. Joe received his Bachelor’s degree from Presbyterian College, in Clinton, SC, and his Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Georgia, in Athens, GA. Based in Atlanta, he’s an avid traveler and hiker, and enjoys spending summer nights under the lights watching the Atlanta Braves.
