Capital Business Solutions has an exciting opportunity in our Sales Department for an Inside Sales Account Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for selling software products and services to existing Capital Business Solutions (“CBS”) customers. Additionally you will work to expand CBS’s customer base by identifying those organizations for which we can provide solutions and making them aware of CBS service offerings.

We are looking for individuals who have career goals in professional sales or have a desire to become a highly successful sales person. An ideal candidate for the position would be that candidate who has 2 years sales experience with a desire to be successful by exceeding outlined sales activities. Capital Business Solutions is willing to train the right individual to be a highly successful and highly compensated sales professional.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reach and exceed all sales targets/quotas
  • Manage phone prospecting efforts and exceed minimum outbound call quota within geographic territory to expand customer base.
  • Qualify sales opportunities to maximize sales engineer’s time
  • Maximize “up-sell” opportunities to existing customers in a geographic territory
  • Identify new opportunities and work with marketing to build awareness of CBS solutions
  • Coordinate cross sell opportunities between CBS’s sales teams
  • Take initiative to become proficient with CBS software and service offerings
  • Travel is very limited. Attend selected seminars and vendor events to increase awareness of CBS

Experience Required:

  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Proven record of achievement
  • High energy and enthusiasm
  • Previous experience in making outgoing calls
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Presentation skills
  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college

Preference will be given to those individuals who have successful sales experience with one or more of the vendors CBS represents. The Customer Account Manager position is located in the Raleigh, NC office. However for and exceptional candidate, not located in the Raleigh area, a home office location will be considered.

All new members of our sales team receive extensive training on our software and service offerings.
