Capital Business Solutions helped Community Action Partnership of Lancaster with their conversion to Financial Edge NXT.

Working with Shannon Heisey, Chief Financial Officer, CBS helped to convert them from Financial Edge 7 to Financial Edge NXT. The implementation to a 10 user system with modules including General Ledger, Projects-Grants & Endowments, Accounts Payable with EFT, Cash Management, Advanced Security, Budget Management, Purchase Orders, Cash Receipts, Accounting Forms, Fixed Assets and Allocation Management. The conversion included Project Management, User Training, creation of VCO’s for Balance Sheet and Income Statements, Cash Flow Reports, setup of Allocations Module, setup of Web Purchasing Module and data cleanup.

The Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County champions the achievement of long-term self sufficiency for individuals and families through services and advocacy targeting the elimination of poverty. CAP will be the lead self-sufficiency agency in the region through personal empowerment, coordination and integration of social services, and public advocacy resulting in a measurable improvement in the quality of life for the community. Each year CAP reaches nearly 30,000 low-income families through services that support child development and education, health and nutrition, household stability, and public safety and violence prevention to help them not only meet their essential daily needs, but to work toward a brighter future of long term financial self-sufficiency.

Christy has more than 15 years of experience with the Blackbaud products, having worked at Blackbaud from 1994-2001 where she was a Senior Support Analyst and Software Trainer.
