Capital Business Solutions recently helped Appalachian Research & Defense Fund of Kentucky with their MIP Fund Accounting software.
Working with LaDonna Lemaster, Chief Fiscal Officer at the Organization, CBS helped implement their Allocations module. Included with the implementation, CBS provided customized training for all the users on all the modules including how to refine business processes to support the Allocations module; defined and configured an Allocations code; review and training on Allocations processing; plus, built a .def file for payroll with testing and an orientation for the team on processing.

The Appalachian Research and Defense Fund of Kentucky, Inc., known nationwide as “AppalReD,” is a private, non-profit law firm. They offer free civil legal help to eligible, low-income people in 37 counties in the Appalachian Mountains and rolling hills of eastern and south-central Kentucky, a region where more than 240,000 people live in poverty. Jason graduated from Bluefield State College in Bluefield, WV in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting and Management.
