Capital Business Solutions recently provided Raiser’s Edge services and consulting to The Winston-Salem Foundation in North Carolina.
Working with Annette Lynch, Vice President of Philanthropic Services; Anne Garvey, Director of Fund Administration and Stewardship plus the rest of the development staff CBS provided a comprehensive System Assessment of the nonprofit’s Raiser’s Edge software including meetings with the organization staff, a review of current fundraising processes and systems, and a discussion of future needs. A recommendation for addressing the items contained in the findings report was provided and used as a reference for additional discussion and formulation of a detailed work plan. Areas that were covered during the process included data entry, constituents, gifts, mail and exports, database review including table configuration, modules, campaigns, funds and appeals, reports, along with identification of user training needs. As a result of the System Assessment future work will be performed including data cleanup, conversion and user training.
