Capital Business Solutions recently helped Community Services Office, Hot Springs, AR with their MIP Fund Accounting software.
Working with Ken Newberry, Comptroller at the Organization, CBS helped implement their Purchase Order and Requisitions, Direct Deposit and Drillpoint Reports modules for their MIP Fund Accounting system. As part of the implementation process, CBS provided customized training for all the users on all the modules over three days onsite at the Organizations’ office.
Who is Community Services Office? 
The Community Services Office, in partnership with the community, will focus on strengthening the educational, social, and economic well-being of individuals and families, as they move toward economic independence and self-sufficiency. CSO is a non-profit, tax-exempt Community Action Agency, which has been in existence for more than 50 years. They serve low-income families an aim to alleviate poverty and increase family income and improve the quality of family life by providing them with the necessary resources and skills to become self-sufficient.

Joon brings 15 plus years of nonprofit financial management experience to Capital Business Solutions. Based out of Springfield, Missouri, Joon has been providing consulting and implementation services for the MIP Fund Accounting product for more than 7 years. In addition to having a strong background with MIP software technology, Joon is a Certified Community Action Professional having worked as the Finance Director of a Community Action Program for five years. Joon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Emporia State University with a Major in Finance and a Minor in Computer Information Systems.
