Capital Business Solutions is heading back to the mountains of North Carolina this week to provide Raiser’s Edge software training services and consulting to Blue Ridge Community College Educational Foundation.
Earlier this summer, CBS helped Ann Green, Executive Director, with a system assessment for the Foundation’s Financial Edge and Raiser’s Edge software systems. As a result of that work CBS provided a reimplementation of the Financial Edge software including clean-up, configuration and training. This week, CBS is spending time again training the Foundation on Raiser’s Edge which has not been used fully since being implemented several years ago.

Blue Ridge Community College Educational Foundation is a nonprofit organization established to support the students, faculty, and programs of Blue Ridge Community College. Each year, the Foundation provides more than 200 scholarships to deserving students; funds endowed chairs; assists with new program start-up costs; and supports special instructional needs.

Her fundraising experience includes corporate development, membership, annual giving, special events, grant writing, and capital campaigns; and her nonprofit management experience includes strategic planning, budgeting, volunteer development, staff structuring, and training. She has direct experience with both national organizations with hundreds of employees and with small non-profits with budget size of under $1 million. Her professional services experience includes implementing software, managing software conversions and upgrades and devising workflow and written procedures manuals.
