Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly Navision) Trainer & Consultant:
Join a small team of an established company that has an opening for a
Navision Trainer and Consultant. The ideal candidate will possess 2+
years experience in Navision implementations of 3.7 or above and
accounting experience.
Located
in the Midwest or Southeast (Preferred)
As
a Consultant, you will be based out of a regional office, or your home,
and will travel 50-60% of the time to client sites as needed.
Capital Business Solutions is looking for a self-motivated, project
oriented individual with exceptional customer service skills and a strong
desire to expand our Navision service offerings. This individual will
provide consulting services to our clients and help identify opportunities
for our clients to better utilize Navision.
Compensation
for
this position will be commensurate with your skills and experience.
This position will also include the following functions:
• Provide implementations for Navision to new clients
• Train client staff on Navision and best businesses practices as related
to use of Navision
• Assist sales team with technical pre-sales support for Navision
prospects
• Assist in design, testing and implementation of internally developed
products
• Manage time/budgets to conform to proposed implementation costs
• Communicate with clients on status of the implementation
• Complete required certifications
Our choice for this position will already possess the following:
• Solid Dynamics Nav version 4.00 or higher experience required
•
Solid background with core functional Navision areas
•
Proven experience with implementation techniques and methodologies
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, and core financial accounting systems
• Ability to self-direct and manage the implementation process with little
supervision
• Ability to generate professional correspondence and ability to
communicate effectively
• Ability and strong desire to grow as an individual
•
BS degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or related work experience
• Willingness to meet the travel demands of the consulting position
• Strong organizational skills
Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following skills:
• Nonprofit or Government implementation experience helpful
•
Knowledge of Jet Reports, Navision Report Writer, and Sharepoint
• Knowledge of other Navision functional areas such as inventory,
warehouse management, manufacturing
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, MS Project and Excel
• CPA or CMA
•
Nav development experience, WEB server, or NAS experience
