Robbie Pollock graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan College with B.S. in Business Administration, Minor Accounting/Economics in 1983. Robbie has been implementing PC networks since 1987 and has worked with not-for-profit accounting since 1994. At Capital Business Solutions, Robbie works not only with implementation of accounting software, but also network implementation, custom programming, and web-site design.

Peter Saul holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Penn State University and acquired his CPA license in 1992. He began implementing accounting systems for not-for-profit organizations while at KPMG in Raleigh, NC. Peter worked as the North Carolina reseller for a major not-for-profit software vendor for 7 years prior to joining Capital Business Solutions. Peter has focused on technology and accounting solutions for not-for-profit organizations for more than 15 years and now directs Capital Business Solutions consulting practice.

Bob Schilling - VP of Sales

Bob graduated from the University of Missouri with a BA in Political Science. He has been involved in financial software sales for more than 13 years and has focused specifically on the not-for-profit industry for 9 of those years. Prior to joining Capital Business Solutions, Bob worked for Blackbaud where he played an integral role as Channel Sales Manger in building their independent reseller and consulting channel. As VP of Sales, Bob works with our sales people to help insure that our sales process converts to a smooth implementation process and ultimately a satisfied client.

Prior to joining Capital Business Solutions Josh accumulated 10 years of customer service and business development experience, including 4 years in the training and consulting industry. With direct experience coordinating customized training for Fortune 500 companies and various organizations Josh brings a customer 1st approach. As Business Development Representative, Josh handles the sales of CBS software products and services to existing customers and helps expand our customer base by identifying those organizations for which we can provide solutions.

Andy graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a BS in Finance. He was involved in the financial services industry for more than 18 years with a focus on mortgage and debt management and co-authored a book related to borrowing money. Andy joined CBS in 2009 as Business Development Representative and currently acts as Channel/Direct Sales Manager handling the sales of CBS products and services for the Reseller Channel and managing the full sales cycle of DrillPoint Reports for the internal and external customer base.

Steve Glauber - Serenic Practice Manager

Steve brings a wealth of experience to the CBS team, as a CPA, having worked for and consulted with non-profits for the last 30 years in capacities ranging from Controller to CFO. Steve was integrally involved in starting a Federally Funded Community Health Center giving him a strong bottom up knowledge of the nonprofit community. Not only is Steve well versed in financial software systems but he maintains a current knowledge base of changes in GASB, FASB, IFRS (The new International Financial Reporting Standards) and other governmental pronouncements for CBS staff and clients. He is a seasoned Navigator professional having worked for Serenic Corporation for 9 years prior to joining CBS. During that time he implemented numerous Serenic Navigator systems for many larger, sophisticated nonprofit organizations. His activities with these organizations included leading the planning process, determining the best Chart of Accounts Structure to meet their current needs and provide flexibility for future reporting requirements. Steve excels in leading client’s through the conversion and training process and, by providing them the necessary knowledge, to successfully complete an implementation. In addition to working with clients throughout the United States and Canada, he’s also worked with organizations in Europe, East Africa, and Afghanistan. Client’s, who’ve worked with Steve, consider him to be an invaluable part of the process by listening to their needs and leveraging his experience and market expertise to successfully transfer the knowledge needed to solve their issues and make them feel comfortable throughout the process. Steve also works closely with organizations during the sales process to insure that CBS is well positioned to meet their expectations should they pursue an implementation.

Christy Anderson - Consultant

Christy graduated from Campbellsville College in Campbellsville, KY, in December of 1991, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Religious Education and a minor in Accounting. She has more than 15 years of experience with the Blackbaud products, having worked at Blackbaud from 1994-2001 where she was a Senior Support Analyst and Software Trainer.  Christy's thorough product knowledge and training abilities made her a great resource for modifying and restructuring training workbooks; providing internal training to new analysts and coaching new trainers on their presentation skills. Christy started with Capital Business Solutions in 2001 where she currently directs client implementations for Capital Business Solutions and provides an in depth understanding of non-profits along with a wealth of Blackbaud experience for our clients.   Her professional services experience includes implementing software, assisting with processes and workflow, and customized user trainings.  Also has worked with converting data from existing system to the Blackbaud software, working with needs of auditors to provide information with ease and integrating the different Blackbaud systems.

Alyson Watts - Fundraising Practice Manager

Alyson offers 13 years of fundraising experience in a variety of nonprofit settings, including 9 years in a Director of Development capacity and 6 years administering The Raiser's Edge® databases. Her fundraising experience includes corporate development, membership, annual giving, special events, grant writing, and capital campaigns; and her nonprofit management experience includes strategic planning, budgeting, volunteer development, staff structuring, and training. She has direct experience with both national organizations with hundreds of employees and with small non-profits with budget size of under $1 million. Her professional services experience includes implementing software, managing software conversions and upgrades and devising workflow and written procedures manuals. In addition, she has received and delivered extensive training. With this level of hands-on, front-line experience in the industry, Alyson understands your challenges and can give you the tools to be more successful in your fundraising efforts, allowing your organization to better meet its mission.

Joon brings 15 plus years of nonprofit financial management experience to Capital Business Solutions. Based out of Springfield, Missouri, Joon has been providing consulting and implementation services for the Sage MIP Fund Accounting product for more than 7 years now. In addition to having a strong background with Sage software technology Joon is a Certified Community Action Professional having worked as the Finance Director of a Community Action Program for five years. Joon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Emporia State University with a Major in Finance and a Minor in Computer Information Systems.

Michael graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science, with a minor in Mathematics from Youngstown State University, in Youngstown, OH, in 2004. He has worked as a Monitoring and Maintenance Programmer at Roth Bros. Inc., a heating ventilation and air conditioning company, in the Facilities Automation division. He also has worked as a Programmer in the InfoSystems division at RTI International Metals, Inc. Michael joined Capital Business Solutions in 2008. Michael enjoys programming and development, not only as his job, but as a hobby and interest. His preferred skills include software, database, web design and development.

Jonathan Carter - Software Developer

Jonathan joined Capital Business Solutions after graduating from North Carolina Central University with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. While in school Jonathan worked for the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill in the dual role of Developer and Support Analyst. In his off hours he volunteers at TOP-CAT in Durham teaching children how to use technology. He also enjoys playing tennis having been a team captain as a member of the varsity tennis team at NCCU.
